The WP World

It's hard to remember exactly when The WP World launched. It was sometime around Q2 of 2023, so I thought it might be interesting to look at some numbers from last year to now.

A chart showing user growth from June 2023 to April 2024

User growth was strong out of the gate - as it usually is with things that are new and exciting. After a couple of months, however, things normalized and have been fairly steady. If you're at a meetup or WordCamp, please let people know about the site! And let me know if your event needs stickers! :)

Site traffic has also been pretty steady, except for a huge spike on December 12th. Anyone know what was happening on that day? I'd like to attribute it to the launch of WordCamp ratings, but it's hard to be sure.

Speaking of tracking numbers... the newsletter's newest sponsor is all about tracking growth and conversions! 👇

New Features and Updates

🏎️ Performance tweaks to the codebase and some bug smashing this week. 🐛

It's not the most fun part, but it has to be done...

Rate your favorite hosts

⭐ The new-ish hosting page needs you to rate the hosts! The more ratings that people like you submit, the more valuable the page is for everyone.

If you would take a moment to log in and rate a host or two, I would be very grateful!

I'm looking for more newsletter sponsors, {name}!

With an updated pricing model per issue, I've got a couple of folks who have signed up now. 🎉
