How can I help support The WP World? I'm glad you asked...

Over the last six months or so, I've been approached many times by folks who love the site, asking how they can help support it and this community. Whether you are an individual in the WordPress space or a business, there are a few ways that you can help support The WP World:

📣 Tell your WordPress friends about the site!
📂 Add your business to the Business Directory
🛍️ Order something from The WP World shop
📰 Sponsor this newsletter! (reply for details)

These things help keep the site running and growing! I have big plans for this site in 2024 and some of them will require your support to make them happen.

Oh, and a HUGE thank you to the businesses and sponsors of the site so far. You're the reason the site has already been able to grow in 2023 🫶

New Features and Updates

💪 Are you a WordPress contributor? If you've been recognized in a release, it shows on your Presser profile! Included so far is any version from 4.0 and on, with the rest coming... Plus, a new WordPress Release History page.

🎡 Added a newsletter feature this week. Yes, this newsletter! Check the Upcoming Events section below to find out where the closest upcoming event is to you, {name}!

⏺️ A new toggle on event pages allows you to say you were there/will be there without heading to your Presser settings. It's the little things 😊

📈 The WP World Business Directory

Over the last half of 2023, the Business Directory was the #2 visited page in the site - just behind the home page! If you're a business of any kind in the WordPress space, please consider joining the directory!

Did you know? There is a function in the WordPress codebase called capital_p_dangit(). It fixes all your "Wordpress" misspellings to "WordPress" for you. It also fits nicely on a mug.
