What’s a herf?
A herf is a gathering of people who come together to relax and smoke cigars. The term originated on early online discussion boards in the 1990s, when cigar smokers would meet to discuss ideas. Herfs can be small or large, and it’s not necessary to smoke a cigar to enjoy the event.

Q. Who is invited?
A. Everybody! (You must be 21 to smoke in Oregon)
Q. Do you really need my email address?
A. No, unfortunately I’m unable to remove that from the RSVP form so feel free to enter a fake email. I’m not going to save the emails.
Q. Do I need to show up right at 7?
A. Nope! You can come and go as you please. It’s a very chill event.
Q. Do I need to bring a cigar?
A. Nope! You can purchase a cigar at the lounge.
Q. Do I have to smoke a cigar?
A. Nope! It’s quite common for folks to just hangout at a herf and not smoke. Cigar Lounges have very good ventilation so unless you’re very sensitive to cigar smoke you’ll be perfectly comfortable.
Q. Is there an agenda?
A. Nope! I purposely chose a day towards the end of the conference so that we would have plenty to talk about, but there is no specific agenda for this herf. Just a bunch of pressers hanging out in a super cool cigar lounge.
