Content of the day globally

To make content more visible, show it in more places. The Presser of the Day is only on the homepage, but you still have to click on it to see the profile, which is kind of limiting.

What if you extracted content from profiles and displayed it in a global section of the site? For example, a photo of the day could be shown everywhere as a banner, so users wouldn't have to click on it to see it, but they could if they wanted more information. Another example would be a plugin of the day, etc.
