Most people think community begins with a Facebook group, Discord server, or Slack workspace. But what if the biggest myth about community is that you have to build one? This reflection explores why your community already exists and how recognizing it changes everything.
We live in a world overflowing with advice, tools, and information. But sometimes the most helpful thing we can do is not point people toward a better road. It is helping them take the next step on the road they are already walking.
Watching Michael Jackson’s story unfold reminded me that community is not just about platforms or audiences. Sometimes it is shared emotion, presence, energy, and the way people make others feel connected.
