WordCamp Philly, our community’s WordPress conference, takes place on Saturday, June 7th at the University of the Arts. Whatever your WordPress interest or skill level, you’ll enjoy it! We’ll have plenty of workshops and sessions for you to learn from and participate in, and you’ll meet other like minded folks with similar interests. At our after-party, we’ll get together in a relaxed, fun atmosphere to enjoy drinks, food and good talk. And on Sunday, June 8th, we’ll hold a half-day Developer’s Day for some hands-on hacking with many of our area’s top developers. Not a code expert? No worries! It’s for anyone who works with code and wants to learn more.
At WordCamp Philly, you’ll get solid, useful information and resources, but that’s just part of it. One of the best things you’ll find is the chance to meet and interact with other WordPress designers, developers, and content producers and get to know them. Whether you’re an expert professional or just starting out with WordPress – or anything in-between – here’s a terrific opportunity to meet and learn from other WordPressers who will be here to share their knowledge.
This year, we’re happy to be working with the GirlDevelopIt (GDI) Philadelphia chapter, bringing together women who work with WordPress or who want to learn more about it. GDI has held many technical skills classes for women, covering WordPress and a wide range of other technologies, and we look forward to their participation in WordCamp Philly.
Come to WordCamp Philly 2014! From beginners to experts, designers, developers, content creators, whether you’ve just opened your first WordPress book or just written your tenth, we’ll have a lot for you to love!
