WordCamp Nairobi 2024: Beyond the Savannah – Connecting the Kenyan WordPress Community to the World
Introduction
WordPress is a powerful platform that empowers individuals and businesses to create beautiful and functional websites. In Kenya, the WordPress community is thriving, but there’s an opportunity to further connect Kenyan WordPress users with the global WordPress ecosystem. WordCamp Nairobi 2024, themed “Beyond the Savannah: Connecting the Kenyan WordPress Community to the World,” aims to bridge this gap by fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and international networking.
Theme Rationale
The Kenyan savannah is a vast and vibrant ecosystem, but the online world is even larger. This theme uses the metaphor of the savannah to represent the established Kenyan WordPress community. By venturing “Beyond the Savannah,” we encourage participants to explore the global possibilities of WordPress and connect with a wider network of users, developers, and enthusiasts.
