The new WordPress block editor offers a simple way to add different types of content to your posts and pages. For example, previously if you wanted to add a table in your content, then you needed a separate table plugin. With the new editor, you can simply add a table block, select your columns and rows, and start adding content.

With the Release of WordPress 5.3 which includes TwentyTwenty default theme is a fully block compatible theme. i will demonstrate how we can build a beautiful website using Blocks. I am focusing on Block Technology as it’s the future of web.

The talk will cover traditional methods of achieving scalability in general (i.e. Vertical Scaling, Horizontal scaling). The differences between the two, their pros and cons.
And scenarios scaling WordPress with both of these methods. What are some of the potential challenges that come up while doing so. And what are the possible solutions to these challenges.
Then I’ll talk about what serverless technologies are, and how the paradigm is different from a traditional/familiar architecture. What are its benefits and what are some of the challenges when working with serverless technologies. And then I will discuss and demo how to deploy a serverless WordPress site. Discuss how its management and scalability are different from traditional methods. What are the pros and cons.

I’ll show a small mobile app build with wordpress and react native. The code will be made open source. I’ll not build on the fly due to time limitation but will demonstrate every step live. By the end of it, we’ll have a mobile app working with a WordPress backend.
