WordCamp Bretagne 2024

The first regional-scale WordCamp in France will take place in the most prestigious convention center in Rennes, capital city of the western region Brittany, on sept 27th, 2024. The event is backed by a diverse, complementary and experienced team from Nantes and Rennes. Members of the WordPress community who gathered to create and organize this original event have been involved in, and often creators of, local meetups, national and international WordCamps for several years.

They commonly aim to bring to Rennes the quality they enjoyed in other WordPress-related events. Organizers, speakers, volunteers, sponsors and attendees will come together to learn from one another’s experiences with WordPress, and mutually benefit from such social gatherings.

The program will take into account the various subjects currently at stake for the WordPress ecosystem, and aims to address a wide audience from all geographical and work areas. Conferences and workshops will take place in two conferences tracks and adjacent rooms, letting the event address various audiences and needs – whether a general public looking for broad approaches and knowledge, or more seasoned WordPress and digital experts trying to meet more advanced and/or technical experiences.

The outstanding venue the Couvent des Jacobins is particularly suited for networking opportunities and enjoyable exchanges even outside the official sessions. Its modern renovated areas create opportunities for sponsors to expose their brand and messages to a wide, national+ audience in a historical magnificent setting.

We believe this first WordCamp Bretagne will create lasting memories and promising opportunies, while helping discover a wonderful region – where the sometimes gently teased weather conditions are by far overwhelmed by local people’s warmth.

As the local saying goes, no matter how you see it, the weather in Brittany gets sunny several times a day :-)
