Looking for Work Section Enhanced, New Collab with Post Status, and Map Avatars! |

When I started The WP World, the aim was to connect people around the world. That's still the main goal, but the last couple of weeks have helped me connect with more people as I opened up the site to some fun new collaborations.
Last week, I shared that you can now find HeroPress merch right here on The WP World. As of this week, the same is true for Post Status merch, though that collaboration will be even deeper integrated over time. For instance, the "Looking for Work" section below now also shows what's available on the Post Status Job Board. 💪

🛠️ Revamped newsletter work area: Scroll down a little and you'll see a completely new look for the "Looking for Work" section of this newsletter! The long list of names is gone in favor of a link to the list in the site.
In its place is 3 additional resources for those looking for work - listings from Post Status, jobs.WordPress.net, and WP Remote Work.
🗺️ Map avatars: If you check out the maps on the home page and Presser Listing page, you'll notice that the Ⓦ pins are out and avatars are in. This community is a collection of real people, not pins on a map, so I wanted it to reflect that better.
🛍️ MORE NEW shop items: In addition to some more HeroPress and Post Status goodies, there are more new, nerdy web and WordPress related items in the shop. There are now almost 50 items in the shop total! |
