I had every intention of sending out the first newsletter of the year on the first day of the year, but I decided to leave my laptop closed. Truth be told, I spent A LOT of time with my family over the holiday break and it was just what I needed after a year of business travel, switching jobs, and the general community feeling in Q4.
But I'm back! The WP World is back! And events are back, starting with a couple of larger events in WordCamp Asia and PressConf - the latter of which I'll be attending 🎉 |

New Features and Updates
🗓️ EVENTS are back! The events page in The WP World has been updated for 2025 and all the WordCamps (announced so far) are listed. Do you know of any non-WordCamp events that are missing? Reply and let me know!
📈 1700 Pressers: The site is now over 1700 Pressers strong and well on the way to 2000. That's almost the size of a small flagship WordCamp! Please make sure to tell your WordPress friends about the site 😄
