The WP World

Friday is the official 1-year anniversary of the launch of The WP World. I've been taking some time to reflect over the last year: what went well, what could I have done better. It's been really fun to see the site grow - both in numbers and as a resource for so many people!

In doing so, I skipped having a newsletter last week, but I'm back this week with a couple of new goodies. 🍬

Oh, and I'll also be at WordCamp Montclair this weekend! Come find me (probably hanging around the GoDaddy booth) and say "hi". 👋

New Features and Updates

🎟️ One of the most helpful stats for sponsors (and attendees) of a WordCamp is to see the expected attendee count, the current ticket sales, and the final ticket results! Now you can see all three for any given event, depending on when the event occurs/occured.

👤 The Presser listing page got a much-needed face lift! Check out your fellow Pressers, now with larger photos and country at-a-glance.

🟦 One spot opened up for a site sponsor for The WP World and my friends over at Bluehost jumped on it! Thank you to the folks over there for supporting the site and the greater WordPress community.

Rate your favorite hosts

⭐ The new-ish hosting page needs you to rate the hosts! The more ratings that people like you submit, the more valuable the page is for everyone.

If you would take a moment to log in and rate a host or two, I would be very grateful!
