Another Thursday edition coming to your inbox, but I had a couple of things I wanted to push across the finish line before sending out this week's newsletter. There's never been a better time to engage with the site with all the new things being added and enhanced.

ICYMI: about a week and a half ago, I launched The WP World Friends, creating a real network of Pressers from just a directory listing. Make sure you log in and add your friends!

A couple of other parts of the site were re-imagined this week, including the Presser List and the Business Directory. I also retired Presser Notes and revamped the dashboard — your first point of contact after logging in!

There's a lot more to come and I want to quickly thank all the site sponsors! New Features and Updates

🔍 Reimagined Presser search: The Presser list just got a HUGE upgrade in discoverability! Filter by country, state, city, community, and more. You can also sort by "newest" to see who's recently joined The WP World. (Much improved pagination, too...)

📁 Cleaned up Business Directory: The Business Directory also got a revamp to make it easier to discover businesses. Quickly filter by type and who's hiring. More information is visible at a glance, too, making browsing the list even easier.

🎛️ Better first impression, every time: when you log into The WP World, you want to see something useful. For years, you were given a context-unaware grid of pages in the site to go visit. Not anymore! Now, you get a profile progress bar, a handful of interesting personal stats, and a few links to helpful site pages. The dashboard is less The WP World and a lot more {name}!

🏆 New achievements: Whether you have 1 friend or 100 (or 50), there's an achievement for that on The WP World. Add friends to earn the Connection Made, Network Builder, and Community Catalyst achievements. Plus, you can get a new Press Perfect achievement for completing 100% of your profile. Thanks for helping grow the network!

🗒️ Presser Notes are gone: If you didn't even know this feature existed, you're not alone. Less than 1% of the Pressers on this site used the Presser notes feature to keep notes about they're fellow community members. Maybe it'll return someday, but removing it from the site was the best course of action for now.
