Week three, and the pace hasn’t slowed. If anything, it’s accelerated.

👁️ Addressing accessibility: Admittedly, The WP World has some accessibility work to be done. 2026 is the year. For starters, the Presser List and Presser of the Day are now fully accessible and so are a few more parts of the Presser profile pages (specifically the events section). More coming soon! |

🐇 Performance, performance, performance: There's a lot of content in this site — over 2000 Pressers, 1400+ events, and lots of business listings. Things have been getting bogged down at times, so I've worked a lot on reducing redundancy, optimizing queries, and increasing cached content. You should notice some speed enhancements site-wide already! |

💰 GET HIRED!: More and more of you are using The WP World to help spread the word that you are looking for work. I want this site to help you get hired, so I've put a greater emphasis on showing employers your profiles and added WordPress job listings from Arc.dev. Have a WP-related jobs site you want added, let me know! |
