I hope you had a chance to step away, recharge, and maybe even not think about WordPress for a few days. Whether you spent the break traveling, shipping features, or just surviving December, I’m genuinely grateful you’re here.

The WP World is still going strong

If you’re newer around here, a quick reminder: The WP World exists to highlight people in the WordPress ecosystem. Events, contributors, agencies, creators, community builders, side projects, and everything in between.

And if you’ve been around a while, thank you for sticking with me. This project continues to grow in ways I didn’t fully expect, largely because people keep showing up, sharing, and supporting one another.

Big plans for 2026

I won’t spoil everything just yet, but 2026 is shaping up to be a big year. Expect:

• More ways to surface community stories
• Continued improvements to profiles, events, and connections
• A few brand-new ideas that have been quietly taking shape behind the scenes

As always, the goal is simple: make it easier to discover people and feel a little more connected in this big WordPress world of ours.

Starting now, this newsletter is back on a weekly cadence. Short, skimmable, and focused on what matters: people, projects, events, and useful things happening across the community. No WordPress news overload. No hot takes (probably). Just good stuff worth your time.
